Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of using da'wah media that can attract the attention of the wider community so that they are more interested in listening to da'wah. One of the media that preachers can use to spread their da'wah messages is the writing method channeled through print media such as newspapers, books, magazines, novels and short stories. The story book "Be Aware of Humans" by Ahmad Mustofa Bisri is a story book with pictures used to convey the contents of da'wah messages that are in accordance with Islamic law. This study aims to find out the discourse analysis of the da'wah messages conveyed by Ahmad Mustofa Bisri in the book "Be Aware of Humans". The method in this study uses qualitative research methods. The research approach used is content analysis. The main source of information that will be processed at the analysis stage is by analyzing Islamic values ​​in the novel "Beware of Humans" by Ahmad Mustafa Bisri. Data collection method used by researchers is documentation. The results of the study show that the story book "Beware of Humans" contains elements of da'wah messages related to morals which about good deeds are called noble morals and bad deeds are called despicable morals. As for the message of da'wah related to noble character, namely the author of the book implicitly explains the importance of listening to and obeying the advice given by parents, while the despicable character shown by the author is that humans have lots of tricks that can mislead other creatures, including animals.
